The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has taken cognisance of allegations concerning the mismanagement of Bhopal waqf properties, known as Rubats, located in Mecca and Medina, Saudi Arabia. The Commission has issued notices to the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), the Ministry of Minority Affairs, and the Government of Madhya Pradesh, and has requested an Action Taken Report (ATR) within two weeks.
